A graduate of the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (UAG) medical school —where she received the award for top student in her class—Dr. Laura completed her dermatology residency at the Dr. Ladislao de la Pascua Dermatological Center and earned her degree from UNAM with honors. She subsequently completed a diploma program in Cosmetic Dermatology and holds certification from the Mexican Council of Dermatology. She is a member of the Mexican Academy of Dermatology, the Ibero-Latin American College of Dermatology (CILAD), and the International Trichoscopy Society, and she stays up-to-date through national and international congresses covering dermatoscopy, trichology, dermatopathology, and cosmetic dermatology. She has also published clinical case reports in specialized dermatology journals. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Exposome and Skin from the International School of Derma (accredited by the University of Barcelona), a program that studies the impact of external factors—ranging from solar radiation and pollution to nutrition, mental health, and lifestyle—on skin health.
